It is my goal that one day Harvest Hearth Community Gardens & Farmer's Markets will be a brick and mortar establishment that also functions as a meaningful 3rd space for selling, bartering, and building community.
Long term goals include building neighborhood farmers markets, that cater to local artisans, butchers and bakers. Where produce is grown on site with the unique option of "you pick" produce available year round. Harvest Hearth will also seek to offer educational programs to those looking to gain a better understanding of our food systems and our roles in it. Until we can reach the goal of creating freestanding community gardens and farmer's markets, I'm looking to home owners, Multi family property owners, land stewards and neighborhood planners who are looking to create these spaces in their own communities and on their properties. Join me in creating abundance for all, through our Community SHARED Agriculture (CSA) program, where neighbors come together to sell and trade crops as well as provide for those in our community who are in need.
My wish is to create a place where community members can shop local, prep and share meals, and seek mutual aid with dignity and respect.
